👁️ Our vision
Our objective is to empower girls in society through education. With this vision, our educational journey began in 1993 with the establishment of Greenland Public School, Banat, District Shamli, which received recognition in 1994.
After this, in 1997, Devi Umra Kaur Vedic Junior High School, Banat was established, followed by Devi Umra Kaur Vedic Inter College in 2000. All these institutions were established inspired by our grandmother’s vision, as at that time there were no educational institutions available for girls in our region.
Moving forward, in 2016, through the Iqbali Devi Educational Charitable Trust, the vision of establishing a girls’ college was taken up. In February 2026, the institution received a “No Objection Certificate (NOC)” from the university, and the college is set to commence in the academic session 2026–27.
Our efforts are not limited to providing education, but aim to bring positive change in society and to empower girls to become self-reliant and confident individuals.

Conveniently situated on the Delhi Saharanpur Road in Shamli near tehsil (247776), our campus is easily accessible to students from Shamli and surrounding areas including Muzaffarnagar, Saharanpur and nearby villages.
